I put my hand in the bowl, find a good nut, crack it open and eat it. At the same time as eating the first, I am looking for another good nut, open just enough to crack easily, to eat. I find that nut, eat it, again while looking for the next. Eventually I realize I have barely tasted them, (and I LOVE pistachios!) because I was always on the search for the next good nut.
